Back to Kohoutek The first Kohoutek was held in 1974 and featured the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, the precursor of Oingo Boingo (the band was founded in 1972 as a performance art group). The second year featured Circus Vargas complete with camel and pony rides.
