The Class of 2019 connected with Interdisciplinary Learning in a variety of ways, including:
Operating a summer camp that provided children with meals, day care and enrichment activities.

Leading workshops on Pluralism within Conflict and Human Trafficking.

Enrolling in courses on religion, history and ancient culture while studying Hebrew and Arabic.

While engaging with Pitzer’s core values, members of the Class of 2019:
Worked to build classrooms and volunteered at an orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS in Guatemala
Started a community garden and educated members of the community about community land trusts
Founded Green Cross, a non-profit that promotes environmental awareness programs around the world
Created policies to help their high schools become carbon neutral and improve their carbon footprint
Founded a Change for Change program to purchase school supplies for impoverished children in Tibet
Met with service clubs and delegated high school funds as member of the Service Council
