Admitted Student Day 2023

Admitted Student Day 2023

Welcome

Congratulations on your acceptance to Pitzer’s Class of 2027!

The entire Pitzer community is so excited to host you during Admitted Student Day. Please join us Saturday, April 15th, 2023 to celebrate your accomplishment being admitted to Pitzer and to envision your experience as a Pitzer student.

Our Admitted Student Day is a great opportunity for admitted students and their families to experience what our campus and community is all about. Interact with current students, faculty, and staff throughout the day to get a taste of the day in the life of a Pitzer student, and a taste of our highly ranked campus food! We hope you will join us this spring to see why you can call Pitzer your new home.

Our event will offer various programming ranging from learning more about the academic experience, student life, resources for students, financial aid, campus tours, and much more. In addition, take advantage of the opportunity to visit our location in sunny Claremont, California and learn why you will love going to college in Southern California.

Program Schedule

  • The Office of Financial Aid will be available for appointments on Saturday between 9:30am – 2:30pm – you can sign-up for a meeting during check-in. Planning to arrive early? Call 909.621.8208 to schedule an in-person financial aid meeting for Thursday or Friday.

Directions & Parking

  • The Office of Admission is located in Pitzer Hall at the northwest corner of East Mesa Parking Lot: here are Google Maps Directions to our building, and visitors can input Pitzer Hall into their GPS for best directions to arrive at our office. You can also visit our Directions website for more detailed written directions.
  • There will be students and staff helping with parking upon your arrival. You may park in the designated Admission Guest parking spots located on the Pitzer Service Road, or anywhere in the East Mesa Parking Lot. You may also park in the Holden Parking lot, located to the west of the Pitzer Service Road.
  • Parking on campus is going to fill up quickly. We recommend arriving promptly so that you have time to park, complete your health screening and documentation review at check-in before the program begins. Overflow parking will be available along the southbound length of Claremont Blvd between Foothill and 6th Street. This is unlimited parking all day.

Local Lodging

  • The two hotels closest to Pitzer’s campus are the DoubleTree by Hilton and Hotel Casa 425.
  • Given a high volume of visitors in the area throughout April, local hotels will fill up fast. There are several hotels within 20 minutes of campus that should have availability. We recommend exploring options near the Pomona Fairplex, Pomona/Diamond Bar, West Covina, Chino Hills, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga.
  • We are also within commuting distance of Los Angeles, and Pasadena is another convenient option for lodging. Please note that driving time from Pasadena in the morning is likely 30-40 minutes, and 45 minutes – 1 hour heading back in the afternoon.
