Admitted Student Day

REGISTRATION CLOSED: We have reached capacity for event registration and closed the waitlist for this Saturday.

While we wish we were able to host every student and family for Admitted Student Day, we are a very small college with limited crowd capacity that we are approved to host on campus. We are very sorry that we won’t be able to welcome every admitted student this weekend.

The recorded panel sessions for last year’s Admitted Student Day can be viewed on the Admitted Student Day page. Our programming is very similar year to year, and these recordings can be a great resource to get to know Pitzer and our programs.

We encourage all admitted students and families to visit our campus on another date that we can accommodate or to connect with us online in the meantime. Please be sure to check out all of our in-person and virtual visit offerings this spring.

Health & Safety

At this time, all Pitzer students are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon arriving on campus, including an initial booster dose, unless an exemption for medical or religious reasons has been approved. You will receive more information about this in the summer. For preliminary medical exemption questions, please contact Student Health Services; for religious exemptions, please contact the Office of Admission [email protected] so we can direct you to the respective offices.

Cost of Attendance



For full details on tuition, housing, meal plans, and additional costs for your Pitzer experience, you can view Pitzer’s updated 2023-2024 Cost of Attendance here. Updated costs for the 2024-2025 school year will become available online this summer, at the latest. Please note that information and costs regarding meal plans is being updated and will become available as soon as possible.

Deferring Entrance

  • Gap years are granted to students pursuing non-academic goals.
    • Admitted students may be considered for a deferral of one year for enrollment in the Fall of 2025.
  • Deferrals are considered on a case-by-case basis by the Pitzer admission staff.
  • If you would like to request a gap year: please submit a Gap Year Request form explaining your gap year plans and to request a deferral.
  • Students may not enroll at another institution during their deferral year, and will not receive credit at Pitzer for any courses taken in that time.
  • The deadline for submitting deferral requests is May 10th. Additional questions or concerns may be directed to the Pitzer admissions staff at [email protected].

Campus Visits

We are glad to be offering campus visits throughout the spring! You are welcome to join us on campus for student-led tours and information sessions Monday through Friday, with a handful of Saturday visits offered throughout the spring. You are also welcome to join us for a handful of virtual visit opportunities available each week. Please note that both virtual and on-campus visits will pause during our student’s final exam week.
