Conversations with Title IX

Pitzer faculty and staff are invited to participate in Conversations with Title IX. These interactive 45-minute sessions will review frequently asked questions on such topics as supporting students and others who come to you for help, mandated reporting vs. confidentiality, understanding the Title IX and DHSM processes, and self-care. The goal of these conversations is to equip you with the tools you need to most effectively aid students, your colleagues, or yourself.

Faculty and staff may use this link to register to attend one of the following six conversations:

These conversations will include discussion of sensitive and potentially triggering subject matter. Please reach out to the Title IX Coordinator if you would like to work out an alternative arrangement to provide you with this information in a safe manner for you. Please also reach out to the Title IX Coordinator if you need any accommodations for meaningful participation.

Title IX Presents: Velvet Penny in Concert

Pitzer Title IX and partners present Velvet Penny, a concert in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Singer-songwriter Velvet Penny’s album and art show All the Flowers is an initiative to raise awareness and prevent domestic violence through art, education, and healing. Join us for an evening of music and to learn about available DV/IPV resources from Pitzer Title IX, the EmPOWER Center, the Pitzer Peer Advocates, and House of Ruth.

At the Grove House Outdoor Classroom on Wednesday, October 26th at 6-7pm. Food will be provided courtesy of OSA.
