Leader Commitment Timeline (spring and summer)

These are the time commitments to lead an OA trip. Leaders must be able to commit to all of them.

4/18-20 TBD - Each Trip will meet with their coordinator to discuss specific action items to be completed by 5/4
   
4/25-27 TBD - Second trip meeting with coordinator
   
5/4 11:59 pm - Final drafts of itineraries and action items due
   
8/18 noon - Point Leaders able to move into res halls
   
8/19 9:00 am - Point Leader Training begins
  noon - Backcountry leaders participating in 2-day Wilderness First Aid course may move into res halls
   
8/20 9:30 am - Point Leader Training continues
  9:00 am - 6 pm - WFA training begins for backcountry leaders
  noon - Leaders participating in first-aid and CPR courses may move into res halls
   
8/21 9:00 am - 6 pm - WFA training continues for backcountry leaders
  9:00 am - 6 pm - All-day Wilderness Medicine Training for all frontcountry trip leaders (leaders certified in WFR, WFA or those who took last years OA first-aid training are exempt)
  9:00 am - 4 pm - Half-day basic first-aid and CPR course for local trip leaders (leaders certified in CPR and First- Aid or those who took last years OA first-aid training are exempt)
  noon - Remaining leaders may move into res halls
   
8/22 9:00 am- 7:30 pm - OA Leader Training begins
   
8/23 9:30 am- 7:30 pm- OA Leader Training continues
   
8/24 9:30 am- 7:30 pm- OA Leader Training continues
   
8/25 TBD - Move-in Day (all leaders will help this day and trips meet during the afternoon)
   
8/26 TBD - Day 1 of trips
   
8/27 TBD - Day 2 of trips
   
8/28 TBD - Day 3 of trips
   
8/29 TBD - Day 4 of trips (Leader obligations end once gear, receipts and petty cash are returned. Approx. 7:00 pm)
