All Students 8-11 a.m. Check-In & Move-In
  Gold Student Center – Multipurpose Room
On arrival, please pick up your information packet, ID card, verify your medical coverage, and register your bicycle. You may begin moving into your room after you have checked in. Welcome Week staff will be on hand to help you get settled.
   
  8 a.m.-5 p.m. Financial Registration
  Student Accounts, Scott Hall - Rooms 120 & 122
The Student Accounts Office will be open to assist students and parents with their financial registration.
   
New Resources 9-11 a.m. New Resources Student Mentor Meeting
  Mead Hall - New Resources Lounge
Meet your Mentor and fellow New Resources students. Find out about the registration process and start your Pitzer education.
     
  9 a.m.-2 p.m. From the Grove House with Love
  Grove House
Stop by the Grove House for a complimentary cookie and beverage.
     
Transfer Students 11 a.m.-Noon First-Year and Transfer Mentor Meetings
  Pellissier Mall (Mounds)
Here's your first chance to ask questions and meet the other students in your group. Look for your Mentor's sign on columns along the walkway between Holden and the Pellissier Mall (Mounds).
     
New Resources 11 a.m.-Noon New Resources Student Computer Orientation Session
  Broad Hall - Room 213
New Resources students should attend this scheduled session to establish their Pitzer e-mail and computer accounts.
     
All Students Noon-12:45 p.m. Student Welcome Program
  Avery Auditorium
Meet President Laura Skandera Trombley, other key senior administrators, and your Senate Chair and Vice Chair.
     
All Students 12:45-1:45 p.m. Student Welcome Barbecue
  Pellissier Mall (Mounds)
Hang out with your mentor and meet other students while you enjoy a barbecue lunch. Have a scoop of Pitzer's very own ice cream, Pitzer Mounds, from Bert & Rocky's (Bonita & Yale) in the Claremont Village, and enjoy a fantastic acapella performance by the Shades.
     
Course Registration 1:45-2:15 p.m. Educational Objectives Overview
  Avery Auditorium
Professor Jim Lehman will outline Pitzer's six educational objectives.
     
Course Registration 2:20-3 p.m. Academic Advising - Group Meetings
  Various Locations
Meet with your faculty adviser to learn about academic advising at Pitzer and set up your individual meeting time for Saturday or Sunday. Your faculty adviser will help you explore and create your academic plan.
     
Course Registration 2:20-3 p.m. International Student Meeting
  Avery Auditorium
All international students are required to attend.
   
All Students 3-4:45 p.m. Academic Advising - Group or Individual Meetings
  Various Locations
Continuation of the group or individual sessions with your faculty adviser to help you explore and create your academic plan.
 
All Students 5-5:45 p.m. Faculty Welcome

Join us for this time-honored tradition as we proudly present our faculty.

Residential Students 7-9 p.m. Livin’ On Campus and Safety Awareness

Get all your residential questions answered and find out how you can be successful while living on campus.
 
Residential Students 9:15-10 p.m. Meet and Greet
  Your Respective Residence Hall
Gather on your floor with your hall director, resident assistant and mentor to get to know each other better.
