Sarah Hersh '05 Awarded Summer IEA Internship
Sarah Hersh '05 has been awarded a summer internship to work at the Institute of European Affairs (IEA) in Dublin, Ireland, the only one given by the European Union Center of California. Sarah, a major in Political Studies and a minor in Spanish, studied abroad in Granada, Spain.
Sarah will spend approximately 6 - 8 weeks during summer 2005 working with the IEA research team. The IEA's mission is to contribute to the study of Irish policy on European integration. The Institute provides a unique forum where politicians, public servants, representatives of business, agriculture, the trade unions, the media and academia, can discuss and evaluate the long-term options for Ireland within Europe.
Following the internship, Sarah plans on seeking employment in the field of Public Policy Analysis and attending graduate school for a Master's Degree in Public Policy.
