Sagehen Round Up for the Week for February 27

March 5, 2012 - The Sagehen Men's Basketball team came up just short in the SCIAC championship game to neighboring rival Claremont-M-S on Saturday 60-54, but not without a huge contribution from Po Grant '13. With the Sagehens on the ropes and trailing 43-27 with less than 10 minutes to play, Grant made three three-pointers in a span of four minutes (and had a fourth go halfway down and rattle out in that stretch) to get Pitzer-Pomona back within 45-41. The Sagehens got as close as two points in the final minute, but ended up just short in its comeback efforts.
