Foundation Poured for Pitzer Hall

Thursday April 20th was another big day for Pitzer College’s Residential Life Project. Workers spent the morning pouring the concrete foundations for Pitzer Hall, named in honor of Kenneth S. and Jean M. Pitzer; for more information, click here.
This second round of concrete activity laid another foundation for our landmark improvement to campus life and made manifest Pitzer College’s environmental sensitivity, which is embodied in ecological design that teaches as well as conserves.
Next week, the first walls will be raised at the site of Atherton Hall, named for Pitzer’s first president.
