Payment Options
We offer two payment plans that enable our students and parents to pay for tuition and fees.
- Pay Pitzer College in full before the start of each semester, or
- Enroll in the interest-free Tuition Management Systems payment plan and select either a 10 or 12-month payment period. This plan is available to all families, regardless of financial need.
The Tuition Management Monthly Payment Planner form is provided for your convenience.
To ensure that our parents and students receive updated student account information on a regular basis, monthly itemized statements are mailed out on the first of each month. This data is a compilation of various departments who use the student's account to charge or reimburse the student.
Payment Information
All payments MUST be made in U.S. dollars.
Billing Cycle
First itemized statement of each semester:
Fall Semester – mailed on August 1, 2007
Spring Semester – mailed on January 2, 2008
Thereafter, monthly statements are mailed on the first workday of each month.
Payment Due Dates
Payments made directly to Pitzer College:
Fall Semester – due on August 15, 2007
Spring Semester – due on January 16, 2008
Payments made to TMS:
Due on the 1st of each month

Student Name and Pitzer College I.D. # MUST be included on all wire transfers and correspondence to ensure proper and timely credit.

Cash Instructions
The College will accept cash payments only in person, and up to $100.00. Amounts greater than $100.00 must be paid by check, cashier's check, or money order.
Payment Plan Instructions
EACH year, you may take advantage of the interest-free tuition payment plan offered by Tuition Management Systems by enrolling in their on-line payment plan on their website or by filling out the Tuition Management Monthly Payment Planner form in the Student Accounts office at Pitzer College.

Tuition Management Systems offers payment by credit card, since Pitzer College does not accept credit cards. Call TMS for details, including transaction fees.
Refund Information
Refunds
In the event that you have a credit (CR) on your account you will receive a refund when all pending aid is actualized.
Deadlines/Restrictions
Charges from Tuition Management Systems and any pending aid may delay your refund.
