Payment Options

Pitzer College offer two payment plans that enable our students and parents to pay for tuition and fees.

• Pay Pitzer College in full before the start of each semester, or
• Enroll in the interest-free Tuition Management Systems payment plan and select either a 10 or 12-month payment period. This plan is available to all families, regardless of financial need.

Use the Budget and Estimating Cost Sheet, in STEP THREE of the enrollment process, which includes the estimated Pitzer College charges for the current academic year.

To ensure that our parents and students receive updated student account information on a regular basis, monthly itemized statements are mailed out on the first of each month. This data is a compilation of various departments who use the student's account to charge or reimburse the student.

Payment Information

All payments MUST be made in U.S. dollars.

Billing Cycle

First itemized statement of each semester:
Fall Semester – mailed on August 1, 2012
Spring Semester – mailed on January 2, 2013

Thereafter, monthly statements are mailed on the first work day of each month.

Payment Options

Payments made directly to Pitzer College:
Fall Semester – due on August 17, 2012
Spring Semester – due on January 18, 2013

Payments made to TMS:
Due on the 1st of each month

Wire Transfer Instructions

Student Name and Pitzer College I.D. # MUST be included on all wire transfers and correspondence to ensure proper and timely credit. Please contact Student Accounts for bank information.

Cash Instructions

The College will accept cash payments only in person, and up to $100.00. Amounts greater than $100.00 must be paid by check, cashier's check, or money order.

EACH year, you may take advantage of the interest-free tuition payment plan offered by Tuition Management Systems by enrolling in their on-line payment plan on their website.

Credit Card Instructions
Pitzer College does not accept credit cards.

Refund Information

Refunds
In the event that you have a credit (CR) on your account you will receive a refund when all pending aid is actualized.

Deadlines/Restrictions
Charges from Tuition Management Systems and any pending aid may delay your refund.
