Candy Nguyen-Brzozowski of facilities and her husband, Matthew, welcomed Lily Alexandria into the world on Aug. 12. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 inches long.
Heather Gillespie of the dean of faculty's office gave birth to her third son on July 17. Christopher, who was about six weeks early, weighed in at 5 pounds and was 18 inches long.
Jumpstart Coordinator Jennifer Duffie gave birth to a 9 pound, 6 ounce, 22-inch girl, Hanako (Peterson) Duffie, on June 24.
Bridget Lewison has replaced Holly Vicente-Robaina (see "Goings") as associate director of public affairs, effective Aug. 27. Lewison brings a decade of experience as a journalist and most recently worked for the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. She has a B.A. in English from Cal State Los Angeles.
Kiara Canjura has accepted the position of assistant to the director of Human Resources, effective June 25.
Jamshed Khan has been selected as the new human resources assistant/payroll specialist. He is a student at Cal State Fullerton and is pursuing computer certifications at Smart Digital Technology.
Vicky Cabezas has joined the Pitzer staff as the new assistant director of financial aid. Cabezas comes to us from Cal State Long Beach, where she was a financial aid counselor for three years. She also served as assistant director of admissions at the University of La Verne. She fills the position vacated by Tracie Matthews.
