Pitzer College Senior Wins Critical Language Enhancement Award

Claremont, Calif. (May 4, 2010) — Pitzer College congratulates Eleanor Wolf '10, recipient of a 2010 Critical Language Scholarship from the US Department of State.

Wolf, a writing and Spanish major, will study Bengali in Bangladesh or India this summer. She was also awarded a 2010 Fulbright Fellowship to Peru this fall.

The Critical Language Scholarship Program is part of the National Security Language Initiative, a US federal government effort to expand the number of Americans studying and mastering critical-need foreign languages.
