Pitzer Student Earns All-American Honors

Pomona-Pitzer's Ben Komer failed to win an NCAA title on March 21, but he earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division III men's swimming championships in Oxford, Ohio. The senior finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle on the first day of competition. Komer, who qualified third, had a time of 20.83 seconds in the final, and was the only swimmer from an area school to reach the finals.
