Welcome to the Office of Public Relations

The Office of Public Relations provides exciting and relevant news focusing on the people and programs of our community to the media, the public and to our internal audiences with the aim of increasing the awareness of the College as an exceptional institution of higher learning.

By raising Pitzer's visibility, the Office of Public Relations helps the College attract and retain a diverse, academically talented applicant pool and student body; top teachers, scholars, scientists and artists to the faculty; and the respect and support of philanthropic individuals and organizations.

The Office of Public Relations plays a lead role in the planning and execution of strategic communications between the College and its internal and external constituencies, employing a number of public relations tools and methods to achieve these goals. Primary among them are management of the College's Web site and publication of the thrice yearly Participant and the annual Honor Roll.

We provide various services and resources to the media and to our community.
