Supported Software

IT equips all college-owned computers with a standard software package. This package includes commonly used programs such as the Microsoft Office suite, as well as many other applications. Standard software comes preinstalled on all machines. In addition, IT provides an array of special software, which does not come preinstalled, but can be installed on any computer per the user's request, provided that there are available user licenses. Some software may not be available to all users at all times.

The following is a list of both standard and special software packages available at Pitzer, organized by category. Software with a limited user license is designated by an asterisk (*). If you are interested in using any of this software and do not already have it installed on your computer, please contact IT at x73065 or send a message to Help.
