Faculty Resource Center

The Faculty Resource Center, in Bernard Core 101, is a computer work area equipped with major supported software and multimedia capabilities for the use of Pitzer faculty and faculty assistants. This area is accessible any time during regular office hours.

Supported Hardware and Software

IT equips all college-owned computers with a standard software package. This package includes commonly used programs such as the Microsoft Office suite, as well as many other applications.

Wireless Access

The Claremont Colleges as a whole are building an infrastructure that will allow seamless network connectivity while roaming the campuses with a laptop computer or other wireless ready device. The equipment used is based on the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standard and operates within the 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrum. Click here for more information and instructions on connecting wirelessly.
