Associate Dean for Academic Administration #471

Essential Functions: Provide assistance to the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Dean of Faculty by providing administrative support, special projects, and oversight of academic events and institutional research. Serve as the Academic Liaison Officer for College’s accreditation process with the Western Association of Colleges and Universities (WASC).

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Master’s degree plus a minimum of seven years of related administrative experience, preferably in a private higher education institution. Extensive knowledge and experience with the institutional accreditation process with the Western Association for Colleges and Universities (WASC). Highly attuned knowledge of working with faculty in an academic setting. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of College policies and procedures affecting faculty. Legal knowledge pertaining to faculty issues, e.g. immigration laws for international faculty.

Monthly Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits.
