International Exchanges through funding from the Mellon Foundation - Pitzer's International Exchange programs offer students the opportunity to experience student life, classes taught by foreign faculty, and the university environment in another culture. Students take the equivalent of a full load of courses either in English or the language of the university. Accommodation is typically in residence halls or university-arranged housing though some exchanges provide the option of family stays. Intentionally designed to enhance diversity on the Pitzer campus, the exchanges allow the College to bring one international student to Pitzer for each Pitzer student going abroad.

The project will employ technology-based teaching and research to develop new and better pedagogical models for incorporating international/ intercultural learning more widely into the undergraduate curriculum in The Claremont Colleges.
Pitzer in Ontario Grant / Pitzer in Ontario Program - Pitzer in Ontario integrates extensive internship experiences in city, private, or non-profit organizations with interdisciplinary coursework that provides the theoretical framework from which social and urban issues can be effectively evaluated.
