Pitzer College Alumna Published in The New Yorker and The Paris Review

Claremont, Calif. (March 29, 2011) — Pitzer College alumna Ramona Ausubel '01 published two fictional short stories: "Atria" in the April 4 issue of The New Yorker and "The Animal Mummies Wish to Thank the Following" in The Paris Review on March 24.

Ausubel, who majored in poetry and cultural studies at Pitzer, is the author of the novel No One Is Here Except All of Us, a collection of short stories, forthcoming from Riverhead in 2012.

Her work has appeared in One Story, the Green Mountains Review, pax americana, The Orange Coast Review, Slice and collected in The Best American Fantasy Her work was included in a list of "100 Other Distinguished Stories of 2008″ in the Best American Short Stories and thrice as a "Notable" story in the Best American Non-Required Reading. She was a finalist for the Pushcart Prize.
