Pitzer College Alumnus Appointed Senior Advisor for America's Foundation

Claremont, Calif. (February 23, 2011) — Pitzer College alumnus Seth Leibsohn '91 will serve as the senior policy advisor for former Senator Rick Santorum's political action committee, America's Foundation. Leibsohn will assist the PAC and Santorum on policy matters and speechwriting.

Seth Leibsohn is a writer, editor and communications expert and a senior partner with Leibsohn & Associates, a Washington, DC based consulting firm. He is the founding executive director of Americans for Victory over Terrorism and a fellow (on leave) with the Claremont Institute. Prior to joining the Claremont Institute he was the vice president of Empower America. Leibsohn has counseled, written speeches for and collaborated with candidates for national office and several former cabinet officials.

Leibsohn has also collaborated in the writing of prominent op-eds, speeches and several national best-selling books. For the past several years, he served as the chief of staff to former Education Secretary William J. Bennett, with whom he is also co-authoring two books including The Fight of Our Lives: Knowing the Enemy, Speaking the Truth, and Choosing to Win the War Against Radical Islam coming out next month. Leibsohn was the producer, co-host and guest host for the nationally syndicated radio show, "Bill Bennett's Morning in America," helping to increase its debut on 60 stations to over 250 stations nationwide, making it the seventh largest national radio show in the country with over 3.5 million listeners.

Leibsohn majored in political studies at Pitzer College.
