Pitzer College Alumnus Wins Emmy Award

Claremont, Calif. (December 8, 2010)—Pitzer College alumnus Justin Rood '95 won an Outstanding Live Coverage of a Current News Story-Long Form at the a 31st Annual News and Documentary Emmy Award for producing ABC News Special Event's Inauguration 2009 - Barack Obama.

Rood, who majored in American studies at Pitzer College, is currently a senior investigator for the United States Senate. He has served as an investigative producer for ABC News and his writings have been published in the Washington Post, the Washington Monthly and more.
