Alumnus Produces Documentary Film and PSA for MTV While on Fulbright Fellowship
Claremont, Calif. (July 6, 2010) — Magee Clegg '09 completed his latest documentary, Filipinio Rice Policy, and produced a HIV awareness commercial for MTV during his Fulbright Scholarship year abroad.
In Filipinio Rice Policy, Clegg, who majored in media studies, documents the corruption of rice trade in the Philippines. While abroad, he produced a public service announcement for HIV awareness which aired on MTV Asia.
In 2009, Clegg directed A Box with a View with fellow Pitzer alums Austin Brawner '09 and Miles McAplin '09. The documentary received the Award of Merit from The Accolade.
