Poetry Collection by Pitzer College Professor Brent Armendinger Published
Claremont, Calif. (March 25, 2009) – Pitzer College Assistant Professor Brent Armendinger wrote Archipelago, a new collection of poetry published by Noemi Press. At Pitzer, Armendinger teaches creative writing in the English and world literature field group.
“How can impersonal details be so intimate? Armendinger can play all sorts of games, but there’s a serious look on his face as he plays them. He alludes, illudes, but never eludes. There’s always something there. Something smart, sometimes tender,” said renowned poet Robert Kelly of the collection.
Some of Armendinger’s recent works include “Sum Over Histories,” “Promiscuous” and “Reality Is the Flaw,” published in The Diagram.
