Community Service

Pitzer Volunteer Group
Pitzer College's focus on social responsibility and community services provides students with many opportunities to become involved on and off campus.  One way Pitzer students are able to participate is through the Pitzer Volunteer Group, a student led group which is part of Career Services.

The Pitzer Volunteer Group coordinates and implements numerous community service projects and have been involved with many national and local volunteer organizations. The following list of organizations is just a sampling:

  • Ability First
  • American Red Cross Blood Drive
  • Claremont Unified School DistrictFoothill
  • AIDS Project
  • Habitat for Humanity Building Projects
  • Heal the Bay - Coastal Clean-Up
  • Ontario-Montclair School District
  • Oxfam Hunger Awareness Program
  • S.O.V.A. Canned Food Drives
