City Year, an Americorps member, was founded in 1988 by Michael
Brown and Alan Khazei, then-roommates at Harvard Law School, who
felt strongly that young people in service could be a powerful
resource for addressing our nation's most pressing issues. Over the
years, City Year has been built on the belief that one person can
make a difference, and with the vision that one day service will be
a common expectation - and a real opportunity - for citizens all
around the world. They are looking for Corps Members.

Overland is hiring Summer Trip
Leaders Overland offers outdoor trips, community service projects
writing programs and language study abroad to over 1000 young adults
ages 11 to 18 from across the country and around the world. Now in
our 23rd year, Overland is proud of our tradition of small groups,
carefully-crafted programs and superlative leadership. This is an
incredible summer job-- a challenging, adventurous environment where
you'll learn and be tested.

The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) is a private,
nonprofit, educational corporation, with the international
headquarters located in Lander, Wyoming. NOLS' mission is to be the
leading source and teacher of wilderness skills and leadership that
serve people and the environment. NOLS students enroll for a variety
of personal goals, from skill development to wilderness appreciation
to leadership development. NOLS hopes to attract the best
professional staff interested in teaching wilderness skills and
leadership, and in the management and operation of an outdoor
education program.
