Welcome to returning students and greetings to our new first year students. You have been subscribed to Career Services’ weekly e-newsletter, the Pitzer Planet. As you may already know, our office has resources, services, and programming for students in ALL class years and ALL majors (including those who are undecided).
We understand that
each of you is probably in a unique stage of career decision-making.
If any of these statements describe your current state of mind, then
please stop by our office: · I want to go to graduate school but I don’t know what program to choose or how to begin the process. · I need a non work-study job. · I want to do an internship but don’t know where to begin looking for one. · I have to declare my major next year but I don’t know what to choose or I can’t narrow down to just one. · I’m going to have to look for a “real job” after graduation but have no clue how to begin. · What can I REALLY do with a liberal arts degree? The first special event of the semester, Investment
Banking & Finance Night is a crucial event for Seniors and Juniors
interested in pursuing a career as an investment banking analyst and
other finance related careers. Formal business attire is strongly
recommended! Prior research on the firms attending the event
will help establish interest with the presenters as well as equip
you with the tools to ask memorable and meaningful questions. For a

One of the most competitive career paths available for undergraduate students, consulting is attractive to students because of its high marketability in the job market as well as the extended learning curve not often available with other jobs.
