For Faculty

You are one of our best resources for connecting students with Career Services. When you advise students, please remember that we can assist them with exploring their career options and provide them the tools and skills they will need to locate internships, jobs, and graduate programs. We encourage students to use the office as soon as they arrive at Pitzer.

Students can make appointments to meet one on one with a staff member to discuss career decision making issues. Daily walk-in hours for quick questions are also available during the academic year.

Below is a list of services, resources, and events addressing career-related issues:

On Campus Recruiting Program - students can interview on each of the Claremont campuses with employers representing various career fields. If you know of individuals and organizations who might be interested in coming to Pitzer to recruit students for jobs please contact us.

Nonprofit Career Fair
Students can find out about jobs and internships at this event on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 1:30-3:30pm in the Gold Center Multipurpose Room. They will be able to meet and network with representatives from organizations in the arts, education, legal, environment, public policy/advocacy, social services, and more. In order to prepare for this event in advance, students should read How to Work a Career Fair.

Four Year Plan - checklists to guide students through each class year.
