Career Services facilitates and sponsors many career-related programs throughout the academic year. The programs include a variety of workshops and seminars including how to write a resume, searching for summer jobs and internships, and applying to graduate school as well as our annual Nonprofit Career Fair, Student Job Fair, and Senior Etiquette Dinner.
Information about these events and more can be found on our campus events page and on our PitzerLink calendar, our web-based calendar of 7-college career center events and job and internship listings.
Featured Programs
Nonprofit Career Fair
Each year our office sponsors a Career Fair for Nonprofits. Students meet and network with representatives from many of the following fields: Arts, Education, Environment, Healthcare, Public Policy/Advocacy, Social Services and more. This is a great opportunity for our students to make contact with potential employers for internships and jobs. Over 200 students attend this annual event.
Fall Student Job Fair
Join us on Wednesday, September 2 from 11:30-1:00 in the multipurpose room in the Gold Student Center. This annual job fair, assists students needing to find a job (work-study and non work-study) on campus or at the Claremont Colleges. Representatives from Pitzer College and Claremont College offices and departments will be in attendance.
Senior Etiquette Dinner
A special event just for seniors! A five-course meal is served while seniors learn about basic table manners, appropriate silverware and glassware to use with each course, and proper dinner conversation. Students dress in interview attire and enjoy an evening of fun and learning while preparing for any type of social business situation.
