Job Listings

Most jobs are found through proactive job search efforts such as networking, participating in internships, volunteering, and career fairs. It is important to use several methods in addition to searching online jobs ads. One method our office tells alumni to check first is PitzerLink. PitzerLink is our new online database that houses jobs received by Pitzer and the Claremont Colleges. Career Services does not endorse and is not responsible for job and internship listings.

Job Search Information
Which job search method should you use? All of them.
Only 18-20% of all job vacancies are ever listed. 80% of all openings are never listed anywhere. The only way to find out about this "hidden job market" is by using the informal methods of job hunting.

Online Resource List
Search for job listings and career-related information by category. We have a new online resource free to alumni who are interested in banking, finance and economics.  It is called onewire.com and we encourage you to take a look.  This service creates connections between individuals and opportunities.  You can also find it in our Resource list under Business.

Online Subscriptions
Career Services subscribes to several online career and job listing databases and information resources that are available to currently enrolled students and Pitzer alumni. To access these resources please contact Career Services with your name and class year.
