Resources

INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE (http://us.imdb.com/)
The Internet Movie Database touts itself as "Earth's Biggest Movie Database" and the description seems fairly accurate for feature films and shorts. There are some documentaries in the list, but they are not well represented.

BRITISH FILM INSTITUTE (http://www.bfi.org.uk/)
The BFI houses one of the world's great collections of film. I think the website functions like a museum, with "changing exhibits" that highlight what they keep in their archives. The collection is primarily of British provenance, though many countries are represented there.

KINO INTERNATIONAL (http://www.kino.com/)
Kino has an American address, but they have the U.S. rights to a number of International films. Kina is the original and continuing distributor of the Janus Film Collection as well as many classic American films.

PUBLIC BROADCASTING SYSTEM (http://www.pbs.org/)
For over 35 years PBS has been a community resource. Unique programming has always always meant there is something for just about everyone at some time or other on PBS...

NATIONAL FILM NETWORK (https://www.nationalfilmnetwork.com/store/)
A distributor of quality documentaries, NFN does not discriminate against candidates for distribution on account of content. This distributor is like many others one can find online, though with exclusive distribution rights to many good documentaries
