What is the Pitzer Senior Gift?

The Senior Gift Campaign has been created to give the Senior Class the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on Pitzer College by giving back to Pitzer. You can give your gift in honor of a favorite professor, mentor, parent or friend. In keeping with Pitzer's founding principles, the 2007 Class Senior Gift will be designated to CCCSI (Center for California Cultural and Social Issues) to aid the Pomona Day Labor Center. Your senior gift is truly a way for YOU to uphold a high standard of social responsibility by being an engaged citizen and making a positive difference on our campus and local community.

How Much Do I Need to Give?

Every gift, whatever the size, counts toward participation, which will help us win the 5-C PIG contest. We are competing against CMC and Scripps this year. Let’s keep Ellen the PIG home where she belongs at Pitzer. Seniors can make a gift of $20.07 in honor of our graduation year, but a gift at any level of $1 or greater is meaningful. Challenges will be made by alums and others to increase your giving. Every bit you give will be multiplied by other generous donors.

How Do I Give? How Can I Help?

• Make a gift.
• Get the word out and get your friends to give.
• Attend senior events.

There are many ways you can give to the senior gift campaign. Keep your eyes open for senior committee members around campus with envelopes and signature sheets (especially in the McConnell lunch room). The easiest way to give is to give online. You can also visit the Annual Giving Office in the basement of McConnell in Room 104 and give your gift to Jessica Romano. Throughout the year, there will be many exciting ways for you to participate. We would like to recognize your generous giving by offering commemorative Pitzer t-shirts, tote bags, etc. in return for your gifts at certain levels.
