The Pitzer College Annual Fund
Alumni, parents and friends who contribute to the Pitzer College Annual Fund build the foundation of support for a Pitzer education. Annual gifts provide critical support for three important areas: student access, faculty excellence and student excellence.
The Pitzer College Annual Fund provides crucial funding to cover the gap between the comprehensive cost of tuition and education for a Pitzer student. Contributions to the Pitzer College Annual Fund also impact Pitzer's ability to offer financial aid to students. Pitzer is committed to meeting every student's demonstrated need.
The Pitzer College Annual Fund provides resouces for the College to recruit and retain world-class faculty. Pitzer's student/faculty ratio is currently 11:1—one of the lowest in the country. Donations to the Pitzer College Annual Fund enable students and faculty to develop peer-to-peer relationships outside of the classroom that continue well beyond the student's time at Pitzer.
The Pitzer College Annual Fund bolsters resources for the Pitzer College community to support its students as they take their local and global knowledge outside the classroom and apply for prestigious fellowships and grants. Gifts to the Pitzer College Annual Fund have helped Pitzer students receive more Fulbright Fellowships per capita than any other college in the United States for the last eight years.
In 2011-2012, alumni, parents, and friends supported Pitzer College through the Annual Fund by giving $1.957 million. Pitzer College would need $39 million more in the endowment, or $2,000 more in tuition revenue per student, per year, to replace what the Pitzer community gives to the College year after year.
Help us continue to achieve unprecedented success by making your gift to the Pitzer College Annual Fund today. Your gift makes a strong impact on the lives of students and faculty and all the lives they touch.
