As a graduate of the last decade, please join others in showing your pride for Pitzer College with a contribution, of any size, to the Alumni Fund. While you were at Pitzer, these dollars had a direct impact on your experience by providing the necessary funds for technology, faculty support, scholarships, student organizations, guest lecturers, campus beautification and so much more!
Participation Makes a Difference!
Foundations, corporations and other donors use alumni giving as a measure of satisfaction with the College. Alumni support is a vote of confidence in the Pitzer experience. It also affects Pitzer's standing in the U.S. News & World Report's annual college rankings. Rankings can increase the College’s notoriety and the value of your degree.
Your annual gift has a significant impact on the future of Pitzer College. Pitzer’s Alumni participation rate in 2007-2008 year was 26% (an 11% drop since 2004-2005). In response, the Alumni Board has instituted an “Alumni Participation Challenge” to re-engage 500 lapsed and future alumni donors to increase the participation rate to 30%.
