Claremont, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2007) - In the early morning on Thursday, September 20, CNN "American Morning" anchor Kiran Chetry interviewed Professor of Media Studies Alex Juhasz and student Miranda Perry '08 about the class "Learning from YouTube."

YouTube ClassThe first university class entirely about, and primarily occurring on YouTube, the class is largely student controlled, mirroring the structure of the site under inquiry. The ground rules are simple and few. All the class work and assignments (reading, writing, viewing, and video production) must occur on and about YouTube.

In the last two weeks, the class has caught the attention of the news media and has been featured in numerous newspapers as well as television and radio broadcasts.
