KNBC Los Angeles Features New Residence Halls on
Evening News
 Claremont, Calif. (August 31, 2007) - Pitzer College's new environmentally friendly residence halls were featured on KNBC Los Angeles. Pablo Pereira's story aired on the 5 p.m. newscast on Friday, Aug. 31.
"Everything at Pitzer's new dorms is done with the environment in mind: energy-efficient air conditioning, low-flow toilets and showers, water-efficient landscape and more. Solar panels will be installed at the new Student Center. Much of the materials used in construction originated nearby, which cut down on transportation cost and pollution."
