Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens Shock the Trinity Tigers

September 22, 2003

The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens defeated Trinity (Texas) 35-31 on Saturday, September 20, at Merritt Field. The Sagehens are now 3-0 for the season. Trinity was ranked No. 3 in Division 3 coming into the contest.

The Sagehens had not beaten the Tigers in their last three meetings. Trinity also had not lost a regular season game in the last 19 contests.

Congratulations to the Sagehens as they continue to make their mark in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). Pomona-Pitzer's next home game will be Oct. 4 against Occidental. Come out and cheer your team to another win!
