Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni/ae, Parents, Friends:

Welcome to the online home of Pitzer College Student Senate!

Student Senate is the student government of Pitzer College. The Student Senate exists to facilitate a wide range of student activities and pursuits – organizationally and financially – many of which are being constantly defined and redefined. All students enrolled at Pitzer contribute to Student Senate through payment of their Student Activity Fee.

Governance at Pitzer College is unique in that students are represented as voting members on all standing committees of The College, serving alongside faculty and staff. When school is in session Student Senate generally meets on Sundays at 6:30 pm in the McConnell Center Founders Room, and all students are always welcome. Student Senate membership includes 50+ students, along with 2 non-voting staff, and 2 non-voting faculty.

The goal of this site is to simplify communication among students and encourage involvement and creativity. We hope you find the information useful, and welcome your comments and/or suggestions at senate@pitzer.edu.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
