Staff Council Representatives (SCR)

Staff Council Representatives (SCR) is a peer-elected committee tasked with the following responsibilities:

SCR Represents Staff Interests at College Council

College Council is the main policy-making body at Pitzer. Generally, all policy recommendations that are made by the various committees are forwarded to College Council for discussion and eventual vote. If passed, these recommendations go to the President and as appropriate to the Board of Trustees for final approval.

Your Staff Council Representatives (SCR) created a working document in collaboration with APC's strategic planning sub-committee titled, Toward a Staff Strategic Plan, which outlines staff feedback regarding future visions for Pitzer College (view grid here). The next step in moving this document forward is presenting it to all staff for review and final voting at a Staff Council meeting. Once voted on SCR will submit the document and a letter of recommendation on behalf of all staff to President Trombley.
