Will Parrish

Will Parrish has been the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation’s Youth Empowerment Director since 2005. He is a community organizer, activist, researcher, writer, public speaker and facilitator. He graduated with honors from UC Santa Cruz in 2004, only to have his diploma temporarily with-held by UCSC’s upper-administration as a penalty for organizing a demonstration. As Youth Empowerment Director, he oversees the Think Outside the Bomb program, the UC Nuclear Free campaign, the Peace Leadership Clubs, and other programs oriented to engage and empower activists both young and old. He has conducted several speaking tours to raise awareness about the destruction wrought by nuclear weapons and inspire action for nuclear abolition. In the past six years, he has helped inspire hundreds of young people throughout the country to devote themselves to realizing social change.
