Visiting Campus
The best way to get to know a college is to spend time on the campus. A visit illustrates the range of opportunities available to you at Pitzer and the Claremont Colleges. Tour the campus and sit in on a class! Meet with an admission representative and spend the night on campus! Eat in the dining hall and meet with a coach! Any and all of these options will better prepare you in your college search. We hope you will join us. If you have any problems with the online registration or have any questions please feel free to contact us at (800) PITZER1 or (909) 621-8129.
Please review all your visit options before submitting your online request. We encourage visitors to allow a minimum of two hours for a tour and information session and additional time for an interview and to visit classes. Most classes range from 50 minutes to 90 minutes in length and interviews may last up to one hour.
Day visit options include tours, information sessions, interviews, and class visits.

Tours
Led by a student guide, tours lasts approximately one hour. You will see all aspects of our beautiful campus including a classroom, a residence hall, the dining hall, Gold Student Center, Keck Science Center, the Mounds, the Grove House and much, much more.
Campus tours are given Monday-Friday at 10 am, 1 pm and 3 pm year round, and on Saturdays from mid-September through mid-December at 10 am and 11 am. Please be sure to check the visit calendar for schedule changes we may make before a holiday, holiday weekend or during exam weeks.
Information Sessions
A 30-minute information session is available for all interested students and parents Monday through Friday at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm year round. The sessions provide an overview of the college followed by an informal Q&A period. Please be sure to check the visit calendar for schedule changes we may make before a holiday or holiday weekend.
Interviews
Individual interviews provide students with the opportunity to both tell us about themselves and learn more about Pitzer from an admission counselor or admission fellow. Interviews are available for seniors only from June (end of junior year) through mid-December at selected times throughout the day, Monday through Friday. Interviews on Saturday mornings are available by appointment in the fall through mid-December. Students in their senior year are encouraged to schedule their interview in the summer or fall for a more informative conversation.
Interviews are required of Early Decision applicants and must be completed by December 1. Interviews are recommended, but not required, for Regular Decision candidates by December 15.
Transfer students and New Resources students can interview at any time, with some limited availability during certain times of the year.
To schedule an interview on campus, by phone or via SKYPE, click on this link, and at the bottom of the request form, indicate your interview location. You can also interview off-campus via LikeLive.
Spring Diversity Program
As part of our commitment to diversity and intercultural understanding, Pitzer College will host its annual Spring Diversity Program to coincide with the Admitted Student Day program on Friday, April 12 or 19. This program is designed specifically for admitted students from underrepresented racial and cultural backgrounds from across the continental United States. The program will give you an opportunity to experience the distinct atmosphere that sets Pitzer College apart from other colleges while interacting with current students, faculty, staff, and other high school seniors considering Pitzer. If you are selected for the program, you will have your travel and expenses funded. Invites will be provided with the acceptance packets late March 2013.
