Pitzer College Scholars
Setting the Standard for Academic Excellence
Pitzer’s curriculum combines the best qualities of both tradition
and innovation. We offer serious scholarship firmly grounded in
the liberal arts tradition of learning and intellectual debate.
Pitzer also fosters a creative environment that supports and enhances
a student’s interests, aspirations and ability to perform.
This combination prepares our students for the demands they will
encounter in today’s complex and independent world. Students
are afforded an exceptional learning experience that extends beyond
the traditional pursuit of knowledge. Not merely collectors and
keepers of knowledge, Pitzer students apply what they have learned
to help solve the problems of humankind and the world.
