
The Bridge Program develops the sophisticated level of English
needed by speakers of other languages to be active participants
in the challenging liberal arts education at Pitzer and The Claremont
Colleges. It provides ongoing support as students move into increasingly
demanding courses across the college curriculum.
Admission to Pitzer
Outstanding international students who require advanced proficiency
in English (TOEFL CBT 190-240, IBT 70-95) are eligible for joint admission to Pitzer
College and the Pitzer Bridge Program. Application to the Bridge
Program is automatically made with your application to Pitzer.
Conditional Admission to Pitzer College for the Four-Year BA Degree
Outstanding students who require advanced proficiency in English (TOEFL 190-240) are eligible for joint admission to Pitzer College through the Pitzer Bridge Program. Application to the Bridge program is automatically made with the application to Pitzer College.
Conditional Admission to the Claremont Graduate University MBA and MIS Program
Outstanding students who require advanced proficiency in English are eligible for joint admission to the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management or the School for Information Science at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) through the International Fellows Program. Application to the International Fellows program is automatically made with the application to CGU. Graduation from Pitzer
To graduate from Pitzer College, Bridge students must complete
32 courses (128 semester units), including four Bridge courses.
