Pitzer College Summer Housing for Summer Session 2013

Information and Application

Students are not required to live on campus.

Pitzer College offers on-campus summer housing to Pitzer College students, Pitzer College graduates, and students enrolled in Pitzer Summer Session courses. Residence Life staff are available to assist students and to provide residential and academic services. However, services will be limited and the College's comprehensive residence life program will not be in effect during the summer.

Residents must be doing coursework, internships, research with faculty, working at Pitzer, or be otherwise engaged in approved activities on campus during the summer to qualify for housing.

Only a limited number of rooms are available and are reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. Make your reservation early.

For an application, please see Application Process below.

Summer Housing Dates

Housing is available starting Saturday, May 25. Pitzer students living on campus during the Spring semester may be granted permission to stay in their dorm room for the period between Commencement and the opening of summer housing (May 18 to May 25). If you would like this option, please indicate as such on your summer housing application.

Students enrolled in Summer Session may only live in summer housing until their classes conclude, unless continuing with other approved activities on campus (additional coursework, an internship, research with faculty, work on campus, etc.). In such cases, housing is available until noon on Saturday, August 10.

Rooms may be rented on a weekly basis.

Housing will be in the Pitzer-Atherton-Sanborn complex or in the West-East complex (to be determined) on the Pitzer campus. All rooms are air-conditioned.  Single and double-occupancy rooms will be available.

Double rooms are available at $100.00/week per person.

Single rooms are available at $200.00 per week.
