Tuition and Fees for Summer Session 2013

Summer Session fees have been set so that students enjoy significant savings on tuition and housing as compared to the regular academic year. In addition, Pitzer offers financial assistance to a limited number of qualifying students (Pitzer students only).

Courses $3,950 per course
Lab Fees For some courses, students will be assessed an additional lab/materials fee. (Please see course descriptions)
Late Registration Fee $150.00
Housing (optional) Double room $100.00/week per person.
  Single room $200.00 per week.
  A refundable damage deposit of $150.00 is also required.
Board A summer board plan is not available. Please see the Housing section for dining options.
Late Payment of Bill $50.00 per month. Other penalties may also apply.

Payment Schedule

All tuition and fees for Session I are due by May 17.

All tuition and fees for Session II are due by June 28.

Financial Aid

Summer Session fees have been set so that all students enjoy significant savings on tuition and housing as compared to the regular academic year.

Pitzer Students
Financial assistance is available to a limited number of qualifying Pitzer students. If you received financial aid during Spring 2012 and qualified as:

High Need Pitzer will cover 75% of the tuition cost for up to two courses.
Moderate Need Pitzer will cover 50% of the tuition cost for up to two courses.
Low Need No financial assistance is available.

Room and board are not covered.

Financial Aid is not available for Independent Study courses during the summer term.

In addition, students who have unearned Federal Work-Study funds from the 2012-13 academic year, and who intend to enroll at Pitzer during the 2013-14 academic year, may work until June 2 to earn the balance of their allocation.

Non-Pitzer Students
Financial aid is not available through Pitzer. Please inquire at the Financial Aid office on your home campus about the availability of financial aid.
