Tracy Biga MacLean completed her Ph.D. at the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts. She received a Mellon Fellowship in Arts Criticism at California Institute of the Arts for work on media events, focusing on the O.J. Simpson trial. Her published work includes articles in Film Quarterly, Studies in Popular Culture and Spectator; a chapter in By Angels Driven: The Films of Derek Jarman; a collaborative hypertext piece in ebr on the book version of Chris Marker's La Jetée; and an article in Charlie Don't Surf: 4 Vietnamese American Artists, which discusses T. Kim-Trang Tran's Blindness Series.

She has currently completed a book, co-written by Jon Wagner, entitledTelevision at the Movies: Cinematic & Critical Responses to American Broadcasting. One chapter, "The Vidiot," appeared in the October issue of Black Clock. MacLean has taught media studies courses at the University of Southern California, CalArts, the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Pomona and Pitzer Colleges where she now teaches classes such as Introduction to Media Studies, Language of Film and History of American Broadcasting. MacLean was appointed Academic Director of Intercollegiate Media Studies at the Claremont Colleges in July 2004. She is responsible for organizing and coordinating media studies curriculum planning, internships, study abroad opportunities and programming.

Stephanie Hutin is an artist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles.  She earned her BFA in Electronic Intermedia at the University of Florida, and her MFA from CalArts in Experimental Animation and Integrated Media where she founded The New School for Post-Animative Thought.  She works as the Director of Production, Intercollegiate Media Studies at Pitzer College. 

Hutin focuses on the performative aspects of animation, which often leads to community-based collaborations, meant to challenge the way frame by frame works are read.  In 2001, Hutin co-founded Big Skills, a platform for experimental design, film, and animation projects with her partner Florencio Zavala.  Her work has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art, Anthology Film Archives, The Wexner Center, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, Outpost for Contemporary Art, and in galleries and film festivals internationally.

Eddie Gonzalez is a Pomona, Ca based artist whose work has included video, silkscreening, and graphic design. He received his B.A. from Pitzer College in 2004 in Media Studies and Art. He works as the Assistant Director of Production, Intercollegiate Media Studies at Pitzer College.

Andrew Jordan earned his BA from Hendrix College in Conway, AR. He is now working on his MA at Claremont School of Theology with a concentration on Comparative Studies and Ethics. He presently works with the Intercollegiate Media Studies of The Claremont Colleges as the Media Studies Assistant.
