Majoring in Media Studies

Working in collaboration, the 5Cs have adopted a new IMS media studies major with three tracks: Film/Video; Digital/Electronic Media; and Critical Studies. Students registered before Fall 2006 will have the option of following the previous requirements outlined in their college's course catalog; they can also elect to follow the recently-adopted requirements. The IMS major, with a newly-designed Senior Seminar (MS 190), will be fully in place in Fall 2007.

On issues such as honors, the P/NC option and internship requirements, students will follow the guidelines of their individual colleges.
