The Media Studies Curriculum

The 5Cs have recently adopted a new IMS media studies major that features three tracks. The following information will be included in next year’s catalog. Keep in mind that current students, particularly those who are seniors during the 2006-2007 academic year, will not be expected to conform to the new requirements, although underclassmen will be encouraged to adopt the new program. Students who are currently freshmen and sophomores should discuss these changes with their advisors.

Media studies faculty members are excited about the new major and the expanded opportunities it will provide for all students within the discipline.
