Eligibility: Students must have appropriate science pre-requisites and be in good academic standing at Pitzer College. Preference will be given to juniors and first semester seniors but sophomores are eligible if space is available.
Preparation: Previous courses in science and at least one area studies course on Ireland or Europe in history, politics, literature, religious studies, or international relations is required. Additional recommended preparation: Language, Culture and Society; Intercultural Communications; Introduction to International/ Intercultural Studies; Introduction to Sociocultural Anthropology

Required Courses:

As one of their four courses, all students who participate will take an internet based course with participants from the six cooperating institutions around developing techniques of chronic wound care. Students must enroll in one additional course on Irish language, culture, politics, literature, or history.

Course Options: The campus does not offer a liberal arts curriculum and most courses are science related but students can take courses in other disciplines and are encouraged to do so.
Credit Possible: Four courses on exchange will equal four courses at Pitzer.
Housing Options: Student lease housing in apartments and condos from private individuals.
Advising notes: Professor Scot Gould at Joint Sciences serves as the faculty advisor for this exchange. Appropriate for science students interested in health care. As one of their four courses, all students take an internet based course around developing techniques of wound care.
